According to a brief article in The Catholic Herald on October 29, 2025, the Vatican, the center of the Roman Catholic Church, has added a prayer room and prayer carpets to the Vatican Apostolic Library so visiting Muslim scholars may pray to their false, anti-Christ god. This has outraged some Roman Catholic clerics, nuns and conservative Catholics, as it should.
One such critic, Bishop Marian Eleganti, a Swiss Catholic prelate, was quoted in the Herald and minced no words.
“Islam is naturally expansive. As soon as a Muslim prays there, somehow in the minds of the faithful … I wouldn’t be surprised if it then becomes a kind of rooting and foothold, an outpost of the coming dominance that Islam naturally always strives for.” Bishop Eleganti is exactly right. Muslim prayer within the confines of the “infidel’s” center of worship is not a prayer of adoration, but a prayer for their god to dominate that which they possess.
Eleganti added, “Islam wants absolute dominance; it is inherently intolerant,” . . . “it has caused Christianity to disappear everywhere.”
This latest alliance or acquiescence to Islam should be no surprise to those who observe and understand Roman Catholic doctrine since 1964.

Since November 21, 1964, the Roman Catholic Church has been aligning itself with Islam, when it issued the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, Lumen Gentium, Solemnly Promulgated by His Holiness, Pope Paul VI.
From “Chapter II, On the People of God:”
16. Finally, those who have not yet received the Gospel are related in various ways to the people of God. In the first place we must recall the people to whom the testament and the promises were given and from whom Christ was born according to the flesh. On account of their fathers this people remains most dear to God, for God does not repent of the gifts He makes nor of the calls He issues. But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind.
On October 28, 1965, the Vatican published the Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions, Nostra Aetate, Proclaimed by His Holiness, Pope Paul VI.
- The Church regards with esteem also the Moslems. They adore the one God, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all-powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth, who has spoken to men; they take pains to submit wholeheartedly to even His inscrutable decrees, just as Abraham, with whom the faith of Islam takes pleasure in linking itself, submitted to God. Though they do not acknowledge Jesus as God, they revere Him as a prophet. They also honor Mary, His virgin Mother; at times they even call on her with devotion. In addition, they await the day of judgment when God will render their deserts to all those who have been raised up from the dead. Finally, they value the moral life and worship God especially through prayer, almsgiving and fasting.
Since in the course of centuries not a few quarrels and hostilities have arisen between Christians and Moslems, this sacred synod urges all to forget the past and to work sincerely for mutual understanding and to preserve as well as to promote together for the benefit of all mankind social justice and moral welfare, as well as peace and freedom.
Every pope since 1964 has proclaimed gratitude to the Muslims for their piety, peacefulness, brotherhood and the worship of the One and Only True God of the Bible.

Pope Francis’ Proclamation of November 24, 2013. In the Apostolic Exhortation, Evangelii Gaudium of the Holy Father Francis to the Bishops, Clergy, Consecrated Persons and the Lay Faithful on the Proclamation of the Gospel in Today’s World, the Pope made the following statement:
252. Our relationship with the followers of Islam has taken on great importance, since they are now significantly present in many traditionally Christian countries, where they can freely worship and become fully a part of society. We must never forget that they “profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, who will judge humanity on the last day.” The sacred writings of Islam have retained some Christian teachings; Jesus and Mary receive profound veneration and it is admirable to see how Muslims both young and old, men and women, make time for daily prayer and faithfully take part in religious services. Many of them also have a deep conviction that their life, in its entirety, is from God and for God. They also acknowledge the need to respond to God with an ethical commitment and with mercy towards those most in need.
253. . . . We Christians should embrace with affection and respect Muslim immigrants to our countries in the same way that we hope and ask to be received and respected in countries of Islamic tradition. . . . for authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.
For over 60 years the Roman Catholic Church has embraced Islam and Muslims as an ideology and people to be admired and to be considered among God’s chosen people. A long succession of popes has consistently communicated that Muslims and Christians (i.e., Catholics) worship the same God of the Bible and have the same noble, peace-loving objectives. Nothing could be further from the truth, and there is over 1400 years of Islamic history to prove the pontiffs in error. Any Muslim who has converted to Christianity through an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, fully embraces the God of the Bible and will vehemently proclaim that the Muslim god, Allah, is a false, demonic, anti-Christ deity.
What does the New Testament have to say about the Vatican position and your involvement if you are a Roman Catholic?
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
The Roman Catholic Church is not a Christian church, nor a New Testament church, despite its vehement proclamation. It is an apostate church that has rejected the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and freely equates the Almighty God of the Bible, the One and Only True God and Jesus Christ His Son with the satanic pagan god of Islam. It is not only Biblical heresy, but also clear apostacy.
Some readers might know what apostacy means for an individual, but what about an apostate church? An apostate church is one that has intentionally adopted false and foreign doctrine that results in it rejecting and falling away from Gospel truth and the teachings of Christ and His Apostles and true Biblical authority.
Think about it! Pray about it! Your eternal salvation may be at stake.
