The weekly headlines out of Israel speak volumes of Israel’s plight, the hatred toward its people and their enemies in Israel, the Middle East and the world. The hatred for Israel and the Jews is unparalleled in human history. No other people have had the weight of condemnation on its shoulders while trying to live a life of peace.
During it all, Israel has blossomed as an exceptional nation that has overcome adversity at every turn and created a culture of production and development unmatched for a nation the size of New Jersey in the United States.
But the unprovoked attacks by Iran’s proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and other Islamic terrorist groups) has come at great cost to Israel and its people. Unsafe from murderous attacks, farms on Kubutzes have been abandoned and crops left unharvested. Tens of thousands of Israelis and other residents have forced from their homes in the north of the country, businesses shuttered and tourism, the lifeblood for most of Israel, has come to a standstill.
Despite the daily threats and attacks, Israel remains strong in its convictions to protect its homeland, even if it means going it alone. It’s a battle for its very survival and they will not quit.
However, the people of Israel desperately need our help. Particularly the small shops and artisans that depend on tourism. The U.S. government and others have provided humanitarian and military aid (including to Israel’s enemies), but it is the individuals and families in Israel that are suffering and daily infusions of cash to sustain life.

One group, Ahuva, founded in 1995 is trying to provide an outlet for Israeli products. Their “mission is to help the Israeli economy by bringing products made in Israel and by Jewish artists around the world to your home and workplace.” Check out their website for many creative and artistic gifts, home décor and more. Support the people of Israel.
